Pick Ups & Deliveries

PICK UPS
Kilns can be collected by truck, trailer, van, ute or car from our East Tamaki warehouse Monday to Friday between 10-3pm. We need a day's notice to have your kiln ready for you in the loading bay. During transit kilns must be fully protected from any wet weather.

DELIVERIES
Most of our kilns are shipped strapped to a pallet and protected with thick cardboard and a commercial plastic wrap. Larger kilns are shipped the same way with the addition of a wooden crate.

Delivery is via tail lift truck with pallet trolley provided. Drivers deliver to as far as the pallet trolley access will allow, i.e. a gentle slope is ok for a pallet trolley but not steps, grass, gravel or uneven ground. Please note that Drivers do not unpack or personally lift kilns after your pallet has been offloaded by their pallet trolley. After delivery kilns must be fully protected from any wet weather - never leave your kiln exposed to the elements even if it is still packaged.

Auckland Metro area kiln deliveries
We use Absolute Transport and depending on your physical delivery address the freight cost to addresses Auckland-wide is generally between $90 + gst to $160 + gst. Please provide your physical delivery address for a fixed quote.

All other North & South Island deliveries
We use Main Freight / Daily Freight. Your kiln can be delivered to the nearest depot for you to collect (cheapest option) or delivered to your door. Door to Door requires an additional truck transfer & freight charge.

You are welcome to collect your kiln from our East Tamaki Warehouse or use your own preferred freight company to obtain a quote.

Top Loading kilns can be taken apart into sections for easier transportation or to carry each section up/down stairs or through narrow doorways.

KILN FURNITURE, PARTS & ACCESSORIES
Standard Furniture Kits are packed and sent with kilns. Additional furniture, or any items which are not in the Standard Furniture Kits (such as additional High Alumina shelves, Advancer Kiln Shelves, Shelf Posts, Vent Masters etc) are sent by tracked & traced courier or can be collected with prior notice from Plume Studio in Ponsonby. These additional items are not available to collect or send from the East Tamaki Warehouse.
